I’m Kendall

They/Them

Kendall Tetsworth is first and foremost a human being who believes deeply in the purpose and meaning found in connection and belonging. They have a deep dedication to the practice of compassion and accountability made possible through community healing. Kendall is a Yoga and Mindfulness teacher, meditator, and trauma-conscious facilitator. Their approach is rooted in many years of practicing Zen meditation, Yin Yoga, and personal work in somatic therapy modalities including internal family systems, attachment theory and embodied healing.

Years of navigating mental health challenges and the hyper-individualism of the western world has led Kendall to the necessary and life-changing efforts of deconstructing the conditioning of the modern world. Dismantling the beliefs that nothing is ever enough and that each of us must make it on our own guides their work of creating containers for the balance of movement and stillness through contemplative practices. Challenging the status quo through Yoga, meditation & Mindfulness is at the center of Kendall’s life and work.

The invitation to realize and remember our own innate capabilities of enough-ness is palpable and Kendall is known for cultivating spaces that encourage people to fall in love with themselves, and move from a place of awareness, kindness, and ease in the present moment.

Kendall has been an activist and status-quo challenger for over 20 years. They hold degrees in Political Science and Women’s and Gender Studies and have been involved in philosophical and experiential learning for over a decade. Their community work is focused on direct mutual aid, accessibility and restorative justice.

Do not ask me where I am going as I travel in this limitless world,

Where every step I take is my home.
